About Scott B. Thompson
I was lucky enough to grow up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in a family full of caring, honest people. My parents, public school employees, molded my youthful curiosity in the world into a passion for learning, and discovery. Today, that passion drives me. I believe in thinking hard and working hard to address the problems that face the world we live in.
My career began in public affairs, as an environmental political organizer. For two years I fought to expand renewable energy in Wisconsin. Then, I transitioned into a career in the law.
In law school I worked in the Wisconsin Innocence Project, seeking to correct the ultimate injustice – wrongful conviction. I joined Gingras, Thomsen & Wachs in 2014 as a law clerk. Since joining the firm I have represented people all over Wisconsin who have been treated unfairly by other people, the government, the police, or employers. I think hard and I work hard to correct the problems that face all my clients.
