I grew up in Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin, and moved to Madison to attend college. After completing my undergraduate studies at UW- Madison, I worked as a family law paralegal for ten years. During that time, my husband and I started an electrical contracting business. I returned to school because I have a strong desire to help others obtain justice where they have been wronged.
I understand that people usually seek attorneys because something bad has happened in their life. I strive to build compassionate and trustworthy relationships with clients, blending empathy with client education. I do this by communicating expectations and helping clients understand the legal process and applicable law. Taking those steps puts us in the best position to obtain a favorable outcome.
I represent clients from all walks of life. My practice includes personal injury, employment, and civil rights. I am admitted to practice in all Wisconsin state courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.
My husband and I have two children. As a mother, and a wife, I appreciate the values of working families and the issues that working families face. When I am not advocating for clients, I love to spend time outdoors with family and friends.
